in the middle Eighties, I was probably at my thinnest. I was probably only 6 or 7lbs thinner than I am now, but for me, on my frame, that's a lot. I'm 5ft 5ins. Everybody would say, "Oh, you look thin". But they never said I looked good. In fact my friends used to call me Annie, for anorexic. Although, of course, I wasn't. But even when I was thin, scales ruled my life. Isn't that sad?
